Laura (Casey Calvert) longs to start a family with her husband Matthew (Seth Gamble). After several failed attempts to conceive, and a trip to their physician, Doctor Bill (Daniel Shar), Laura finally becomes pregnant. However, when the pregnancy turns out to be difficult on Laura, Matthew surprises her by bringing in a doula, Grace (Leana Lovings), who will stay with them to assist Laura with everything she needs. Grace seems kind and helpful, but as the pregnancy develops, Laura beings to feel increasingly unsettled. Though no-one believes her, Laura is having intrusive thoughts, nightmares, and strange symptoms. Laura has no idea what’s happening to her, but it seems like her fantasy of starting a family is becoming a nightmare…
